Amanda is a provisionally licensed professional counselor working under the supervision of Dr. Jean Moretto, Ph.D., LPC. Amanda currently holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lindenwood University, as well as, a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Human Services from Kansas State University. Amanda is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
Amanda is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to assist clients experiencing trauma and stress-related symptoms. She has a special interest in working with clients experiencing life transitions, anxiety, and trauma related struggles.
She looks forward to working with you as you walk through the journey of reaching your counseling goals. She believes everyone has a unique view of the world, and no two situations are the same. Amanda seeks to give the space to feel valued and heard as you share your unique story. She values an authentic non-judgmental environment where you can let all aspects of yourself be seen.
