Hybrie "Bri" Bishop (formerly Brownlee) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Bishop earned her Masters in Social Work from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Clark Atlanta University. Bishop is the founder and therapist at Akoma Healing & Consultation, an interdisciplinary practice that offers individual therapy, Mental Health First Aid, and clinical consultation.

Bishop specializes in working with survivors impacted by sexual, domestic, and community violence; as well as those diagnosed with mental illnesses such as anxiety, PTSD, and those impacted by grief. She utilizes a variety of modalities to assist clients in achieving therapy goals including TF-CBT, DBT, and EMDR. Bishop was previously employed as the Clinical Manager for Safe Connections, an agency that provides services to survivors of abuse and trauma. Past employment also includes working as an Adult Trauma Therapist for Safe Connections and a Women's Counselor for Queen of Peace Center; a treatment center for women with co-occurring addictive disorders and mental illness.
