Joshua is a counseling intern (supervised by Shala Taylor, LPC) with an anticipated graduation date of August 2021 with a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lindenwood University. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Applied Management from Hickey College in 2013. Currently working at Lindenwood University, he has always had a passion for helping people through mental health issues. Being an adoptee, Joshua has realized the importance of counseling in the black community. He has always been passionate about working with adolescents, college age students, young adults, and couples. Joshua has always felt that couples are a neglected segment of the population in the black community especially when it comes to couples on their way to marriage. As a member of the Christian faith, Joshua wants to be another resource for Christians to be able to work out their life issues through faith related solutions.
Joshua currently holds a certification Youth Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health First Aid. Additionally, he is working toward a certification in Play Therapy.
