Leslie is a counseling intern under the direct supervision of Jean Moretto, PhD, LPC, NCC. She graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly UM-Rolla) with a Bachelor of Science in psychology, with a clinical emphasis. She is currently studying at Lindenwood University for her MA in Professional Counseling with Clinical Mental Health emphasis. She is a student member of the American Counseling Association.
Leslie currently works in a psychiatric clinic, and understands how important medication can be, but knows that there is much more to mental health than medicine. She aims to help individuals organize their thoughts, learn coping methods and processing skills, and overall provide a compassionate and safe place for individuals who need it. She wants to work with each client to provide the exact skill set they need, meet you where you’re at in life, and help you build toward your ideal self – one step at a time.
Leslie has a special interest in CBT and solution-based therapy, as well as working with teens and adults with depression, anxiety, or life transitions. She also hopes to assist any individuals with LGBTQIA+ issues.
