314-499-0809

Ashlee Ross, MA, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides therapy for children (ages 10+), adolescents, and young adults through age 26. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe to be themselves while building the skills and confidence to navigate life’s challenges. She believes therapy does not have to feel intimidating and incorporates warmth, humor, and authenticity into her work whenever appropriate.

Her approach is eclectic and tailored to each client’s unique needs, drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy. She is committed to providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and decolonized care that honors each client’s unique experiences, identities, and strengths. She strives to create an affirming, inclusive space for all clients and has a particular interest in supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

Prior to becoming a full-time therapist, she worked 10+ years in education as an Administrative Assistant, Family Engagement Specialist, and School Counselor. She has also provided therapy to at-risk youth and worked with children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support continuity of care.

Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, racial identity, and life transitions. She believes each client is the expert of their own life and considers it a privilege to walk alongside them as they build resilience, discover strengths, and move toward the life they envision for themselves.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Family Studies from Southeast Missouri State University and a master’s degree in Professional and School Counseling from Lindenwood University. She is licensed to practice counseling in the state of Missouri.
