Megan Spence

PLPC

Adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and change, using a narrative approach to look past limiting stories. Leads the grief processing group. Supervised by William Collins, MA, LPC.

Megan is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor under the supervision of William Collins, MA, LPC. Megan received her master’s degree in professional counseling with an emphasis in clinical mental health from Webster University where she was a member of the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society. Megan is a member of the American Counseling Association, has a certification in Psychological First Aid, and has completed training in trauma-informed care and multicultural counseling. Prior to pursuing a career in counseling, Megan completed a bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Missouri.

Megan believes we all carry a narrative (stories) about our lives, many of which are painful. These stories shape how we see ourselves. She helps clients look past limiting stories to uncover their own strengths and values, and see a future that reflects who they really are. Megan works with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, who have a history of trauma, and who are undergoing change.
