Shala Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. Shala earned a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Master of Arts in Teaching, both from Lindenwood University. Shala began working in the Behavior Health field in 2012 as an Adolescent Substance Abuse Counselor. As a former educator with certification in substance use, Shala provides a unique opportunity for adolescents and young adults. Change of life transitions and Christian counseling are unique areas geared toward adults. Shala has completed training in EMDR, which is designed to treat individuals that have experienced trauma, anxiety or complex grief. Solution Focused Couples therapy is a unique approach offered to assist couples that are preparing for marriage or need to address challenges within their relationship.

Since mental health is not a one-size fits all approach and requires individualized treatment, a unique style of service is provided to meet each client’s specific needs. The goal is to facilitate each person toward reaching their wellness goals in a collaborative fashion. Let us work together on your journey to mental health and wellness to navigate through your challenges in life. Together we can reshape your thinking and begin the healing process. Discovering your strength within can help you to claim victory over your life. Join me, as we take the first steps to restore your joy.
