Shannon is a counseling intern at Walter’s Walk, serving clients ages 11 and up under the supervision of Julia Dooley, MA, LPC, RPT. She is pursuing her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health at Missouri Baptist University. Shannon takes a holistic and compassionate approach to therapy, blending evidence-based methods with a somatic lens that honors the mind–body connection.
With her background as a licensed massage therapist, she helps clients cultivate body awareness, feel safe in the healing process, and find balance between mind and body. Shannon is particularly interested in guiding clients to reconnect with themselves, explore identity, shift limiting beliefs, reduce anxiety and rumination, and foster resilience, self-awareness, and authenticity. She is passionate about supporting individuals in creating a sense of inner harmony, alignment, and well-being.
