Shannon is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) at Walter’s Walk, working with preteens, teens, and adults under the supervision of Julia Dooley, MA, LPC, RPT. She earned her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Missouri Baptist University.
Shannon views therapy as a collaborative process—walking alongside clients through life’s twists, turns, and uncertain seasons. She offers a calm, grounded space where clients can feel understood while also gaining clarity and direction when things feel overwhelming or stuck.
Her approach is integrative, drawing from solution-focused, narrative, person-centered, and cognitive behavioral therapies. Shannon helps clients begin to shift the patterns that keep them stuck—whether that shows up as overthinking, self-doubt, people-pleasing, substance use, addictive behaviors, or difficulty setting boundaries. Together, the work focuses on identifying and reframing limiting beliefs, building insight, and taking realistic, meaningful steps forward.
Shannon has a special interest in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, low self-worth, life transitions, and a lack of confidence or direction. She is passionate about helping clients reconnect with their worth, strengthen self-trust, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, aligned, and intentional.
