Greetings! My name is Tresa. I am a therapist and Clinical Social Worker. Although I have treated a full range of counseling concerns over the last 40 years, my primary interests focus on communication, families, parenting, co-parenting, relationships, behavioral concerns and young people. When I work with children and young people, I prefer to involve parents and caretakers as well.

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1981. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Work in both Missouri and Illinois since 1982. I have served in a variety of settings, including community mental health centers, schools, and other community interests. My work with school has earned an award from the YWCA.

I have lived my whole life as a Midwesterner. My values and beliefs are rooted in the Midwest. My husband and I have raised our two adult children with these values and beliefs. Cultural understanding is essential to our experience.

Regardless of your concerns that have brought you to consider counseling, our sessions together will involve a practical approach to problem-solving with positivity and humor. I am looking forward to meeting you.
