Walters Walk welcomes Master's level students seeking practicum or internship opportunities to fulfill their academic requirement. We offer a field experience that fosters collaborations and growth, as each student works with a diverse group of mental health providers that specialize in a variety of topic areas.
Every year we accept 5 counseling interns from local universities. Many Walters Walk's counseling interns have stayed at the organization to fulfill their PLPC requirements to jump start their private practice.

Walter's Walk is committed to the wellness of our community by serving low income and uninsured individuals in the Greater St. Louis area. We collaborate with individual therapists and wellness experts to provide direct services at our office space. Each therapist agrees to dedicate their time to serve Walter's Walk patients. While actively achieving this mission, clinicians also are able to maintain their own private practice at our office space.
Established marketing platform and ongoing referrals to ensure each clinician maintains a full caseload.
