Alexandria Zachary is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), serving in the field of mental health since 2014. Alexandria earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Northeastern State University in 2014. Through Lindenwood University, in 2018, she earned her Master’s in Counseling. She is now the founder and owner of A-Z Therapy and Wellness.
Alexandria has spent significant time supporting individuals within inpatient treatment settings, outpatient treatment settings, school settings, out within the community, and in private practice both in-person and virtually. Alexandria takes a special interest in breaking barriers surrounding the stigmas tied to mental health within the black community and marginalized populations that generally don’t view mental health treatment as a cultural norm.
Alexandria believes there is no one-size-fits-all when approaching our journey with mental health. Her holistic approach allows clients to take the lead, while also receiving any tools that may be necessary on their journey to wellness. Alexandria is experienced in several treatment modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Based Therapy, Family Systems, Humanistic Approach, and Existentialism. Alexandria believes everyone deserves the opportunity to process, understand, and make connections between the mind and all the experiences impacting the health and wellness of the mind. Through therapy, Alexandria can offer a safe environment where your journey to wellness can begin and continue.
