Jenifer Goers is a counseling intern under the direct supervision of Terri Austin MA, LPC. Jenifer received her bachelor’s at Columbia College and is now pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lindenwood University. Jenifer has training as a psychoanalytic counselor through the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute and provides counseling to clients through a psychoanalytic and cognitive behavioral lens. Jenifer has experience working with clients from a variety of different backgrounds including different ethnicities, LGBTQIA+, economic and educational levels.

Jenifer’s goal is to provide talk-focused therapy in a warm, holistic, safe, and non-judgmental environment that creates an atmosphere of trust and empathy with clients so they can focus on personal growth and exploration of current and past issues as they work towards personal mental health and wellness goals. Jenifer is passionate about and has experience working with clients trying to overcome concerns related to crisis, trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, divorce, identity exploration, and grief.
