Josh Faller is under the supervision of Dr. Jean Moretto, Phd, LPC. Josh received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Southeast Missouri State University in 2014. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Webster University. Josh has over 8 years of experience as a police officer in which time he has received training in crisis intervention, mental health first aid, dealing with Officer’s in crisis, and trauma related to first responder work. Along with this, Josh also served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps where he achieved the rank of Corporal.

Since beginning his journey to becoming a licensed counselor, Josh has been a member of Responder Development & Empowerment, LLC, (formerly First Responder Wellness Group) who strive to provide wellness education, support, and resources to those working within helping professions. Josh is an advocate for breaking negative stigmas surrounding mental health, especially for, but not limited to, those who are employed or retired from helping professions or military service. His primary area of interest is assisting clients who have experienced trauma, including vicarious traumatization, post-traumatic stress disorder, compassion fatigue, and burnout. Josh has experience working with diverse communities across the entire St. Louis region. He takes interest in creating a non-judgmental space in which clients can feel safe to explore their experiences in a collaborative manner to improve their quality of life.
