Megan is a Counseling Intern under the supervision of Dr. Jean Moretto, PhD, LPC. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in professional counseling with an emphasis in clinical mental health at Webster University, and she is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society. Megan’s certifications include Psychological First Aid, and she has specialized training in trauma-informed care and multicultural counseling. Prior to pursuing a career in counseling, Megan completed her bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Missouri.
Megan’s training has equipped her with a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches combined with empathetic listening skills. She has recent experience providing support to survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation and is passionate about working with teenagers and adults. Megan welcomes the opportunity to help people to explore their innate wisdom to create positive change, even when life's challenges make that potential feel impossible.
