Rachell L. Nord-Roseau, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and she received her Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Missouri Baptist University in May 2012. Rachell has over 20 years of community mental health experience. Rachell has an eclectic approach to therapy in order to promote collaboration between therapist and client. Rachell has been licensed by the state of Missouri since 2013 and has a background working in non-profit settings, hospital settings, church settings, community mental health settings as well as crisis intervention services within the social services arena.
Rachell is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors; is trained in Behavioral Modification, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), cultural competence, crisis intervention techniques, client centered and trauma informed care. She has experience in child welfare to include foster care, and residential for transition age youth. She also has experience in identity issues, self esteem/ self awareness issues, gender affirming issues, anger management issues, relationship issues, chronic severe mental illness, and Christian based therapy.
