Vivian has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor for nearly 20 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master of Science Degree in Community Service Counseling. She specializes in working with individuals that experience anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Mrs. Mack has several years of experience working in school-based settings and providing services for youth. This has provided her the knowledge to navigate families through the school system and to advocate for the needs of students with mental health challenges. She also has had experience working with individuals who have domestic violence and substance abuse issues.

As a helper, Vivian fosters positive change for individuals to move forward. With several years of marriage, she is very family-oriented. The name of her private practice, AnnaJaRa Counseling and Family Services, was derived from the names of her parents and mother-in-law who have passed away.

Her therapeutic approach consists of Person-Centered, Behavioral, Cognitive-Behavioral and Brief Solution-Focused theories. She has completed training in Sexual Assault and Harassment, Suicidal Prevention and Emerge Abuser Counseling to stop Domestic Violence.

Vivian provides supervision to clinicians in the state of Missouri who are seeking full licensure in Counseling. She is an ethical, empathetic, insightful and caring therapist. She enjoys working with her clients toward achieving growth, peace of mind and healing.
