5 Ways to Donate to Walter's Walk

Updated: Dec 2, 2020

Directly support our organizations' mission of providing mental health services to our community by donating to us in one of these various ways!

  1. Choose us on Amazon Smile - when making purchases on Amazon, visit smile.amazon.com/ch/27-2595936 to select Walter's Walk! Each eligible purchase you make donates money to us, at no cost to you!

  2. Monetary Donations - we accept online donations through our PayPal or via check sent to our office at 737 Dunn Road, Hazelwood, MO 63042. First click here to see if your company matches your donation.

  3. Buy a Knit (pictured above) - During therapy sessions at Walter's Walk, patients are taught how to knit! Crocheting is a wonderful way to balance your mood and help with restlessness. These beautiful crocheted items are available for purchase at our office or a select inventory are sold online. The scarfs, hats, and other creations are made 100% with love! All proceeds goes to our mission. Check out our online store here! >> Add Link here

  4. Buy our Coffee House Concert CD - Due to COVID-19, we had to cancel several of our Coffeehouse Concerts. As an act of giving, several of our Coffeehouse Musicians created a CD to benefit the important work we do in our community. If you would like to expand on this generosity and receive a great stocking stuffer, make a $20 donation to our CD's Go Fund Me and receive a CD!

  5. Shop with Schnucks - Shop at Schnucks with an eScript Community Card and 3% of your purchase goes to Walters Walk! Learn more at https://www.escrip.com/merchants/identity/schnucks/index.jsp

Another thing to consider!

Tax Benefits Under the CARES Act!:

Universal Deductions for Donations Up to $300

Non-itemizers are now eligible for $300 charitable deductions! This new “above-the-line” deduction applies to taxpayers who contribute up to $300 in charitable giving ($600 for married-filing-jointly taxpayers).

Raising the Charitable Giving Deduction Cap

This new adjustment to income will reduce a donor’s adjusted gross income to 100% rather than original 60%. Corporations will see their deduction cap lifted to 25% for 2020. Many companies give match donations so check in with your Human Resource Of ice to see if

they are willing to match your donation.

Thank you for helping us help our community! Stay healthy, safe, and let us know if we can assist you!
