Brittney has worked in healthcare for 10+ years. She aims to first build a strong, trusting therapeutic bond with the client by creating a caring, supportive, non-judgmental environment in hopes of assisting the client to feel confident to engage in introspection of any present or past experiences that may be interfering in the personal growth and wellbeing of the client. She believes that every client is unique and therefore aims to work with each individual to explore which treatment approach will work best for them. She wants you to feel comfortable to share whatever is bringing you in for counseling. Brittney feels that everyone needs a safe place to vent and be heard and works diligently to provide this to the client. Everyone responds to trauma, grief and stressful experiences differently and Brittney is ready to work with you to achieve better coping skills to adjust to life’s challenges.

Brittney has experience in working with adolescent and adult bereaved individuals of all backgrounds and their families, grief, trauma, loss, LGBTQIA+ issues, relationship issues, parenting concerns, spiritual and crisis intervention. She is one of the facilitators of the ongoing grief support group offered at Walter's Walk. She is also ready to assist individuals dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, PTSD and adjustment issues related to trauma, stressful life changes and experiences. She continues to work with couples and families encountering interpersonal relationship and communication struggles. Brittney is currently working through EMDR Training to better assist clients dealing with trauma and stress.
